
For more than 70 years Doc Martens has been creating iconic boots.
From the factories, to the daily trek of the working class, to the streets, to the clubs, into the underground music scene—Docs have become synonymous with the pulse of youth culture and the rebellious spirit.
So when they asked us to help them document their iconic Doc Martens Presents Music Series… we said HELL YEAH! Challenge accepted. And just like that, we were on tour!

We knew we had to get to the heart of these communities, and bear witness to the music + the art—as a character.
Relationships were our key to success. We pulled together an incredibly talented, diverse team in each city—from directors to camera operators, sound techs to photographers—our storytellers and their relationship with their city, their backyard, was essential to bringing Doc Marten’s ultra-talented lineup of rising musicians into focus.
